Today, Branden’s Joanne the Scammer Twitter account is, an internet sensation. It’s populated with endlessly clever missives, both video and text-based, about ripping people off, robbing, cheating, and lying. As you may know, the Twitter world is soaking up Joanne's shenanigans. Joanne The Scammer has become a household name.
But on the other hand, Branden is trying to make in the the real world like all of us. He is no scammer, liar or cheater. In fact, Branden has been through a lot in life and has overcame obstacles In 2014, Branden overdosed during his first-ever hard drug experience. It started when a friend gave him a crystal of MDMA.
“It made me say ‘I love you’ to people, which I never do,” he says.
Joanne the Scammer is based on Los Santos, Branden says. Los Santos, the name of the sprawling fictional city that debuted in GTA V, where you can be anyone and do anything, is tattooed on his forearm. The character Joanne allows Branden to escape from his problems, to say and act in anyway that may seem taboo to mainstream culture. Don't we all wish we could have the courage like Branden to have such an outlet? But the real question is Are You Part Of The Scammer Lifestyle?
