This is dope art, at it's finest.
Art takes anyone through a vicarious journey. The Japanese-born Tomokazu Matsuyama, who is a New York native currently, has pulled back the curtain on his third solo exhibition titled "Come With Me". Amongst the lineup, is his newest collection of fine works, at Gallery Wendi Norris in San Francisco.
Come With Me is a blend of popular culture and post-war art, which both contrast one another. In all honesty, Matsuyama does a fabulous job in bringing all the key elements of the two styles together.
Welcome to his world in this collection, where there are mysterious characters, bizzare and colourful patterns, as well as bright colors and shapes.
The exhibition will be on display until May 2, and a panel talk with Matsuyama will be held at the gallery on April 25. Don't hesitate, check him and his work out!
