They say the past always comes back to haunt you, well nobody knows that better than Chris Brown.
Brown was involved in a domestic violence incident with music sensation Rihanna in 2009, and it still haunts him and his career. People have somewhat forgotten and forgave, even Rihanna publically forgave him, but his life will never be the same.
Brown is banned from even visiting Australia, let alone perform because of the incident.
Former Assistant Minister for Immigration and Border Protection Michaelia Cash, who is now minister for women stated,
“People need to understand if you are going to commit domestic violence and then you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you: ‘You cannot come in because you are not of the character we expect in Australia'... This is a government that is not afraid to say no"
All these statements happened after a $70 million domestic violence prevention initiative established in Australia this week. Brown pleaded guilty to the incident with Rihanna, and just finished probation this year. He had to reschedule tour dates because of him not finishing his probation earlier.
In 2010, the UK prevented Brown from entering the country to perform, and had to cancel tour dates earlier in Canada this year because they would not let him cross the border. Brown also will be prevented from performing in New Zealand because immigration law there prevents granting visas to people that have been denied entry into other countries.
