AP JETS CAMP FOOTBALL S FBN USA NJ

The New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith is out six to 10 weeks because of two fractures in his jaw as a result of being sucker punched by reserve linebacker IK Enemkpali.

Enemkpali was released immediately after the incident.

"It was nothing to do with football. ... It was very childish," coach Todd Bowles said. "He got cold-cocked ... sucker punched, whatever you want to call it, in the jaw. He's got a broken jaw, a fractured jaw."
