We’re right around the corner from the official start of the NBA preseason. Many people are awaiting one of the most exciting and unpredictable seasons since Boston’s big three was created. Chicago, who has been an elite defensive team, will finally be reunited with the scoring machine known as Derrick Rose. With some modifications to the roster, the bulls look to reclaim a top seed in the east. Rose who has had multiple surgeries, look to prove that he still has what it takes to rack up another MVP. The former 2008 top pick has demonstrated that athleticism, penetration, and lethal shooting through the FIBA international games.
Before his injuries, Derrick was one of the most promising, and elite Point guards in the NBA. Leading up to his first injury, Derrick managed to stop LeBron from collecting three consecutive MVP titles. During the 2010-2011 season, Rose averaged 25 points, 7 assist, and 1 steal per game. Known for his explosiveness to the rim, Rose has the ability to make a significant impact in the playoffs. No one else has come close to providing electricity in the Windy City since Jordan.
