There are countless amounts of Air Jordans flooding the streets in this very moment.
Either they're being worn by the millions of Michael Jordan fans across the world, or they're being flown, driven or shipped to a local sneaker distributor for release and sale. Hands down, the Jordan brand is the most popular sneaker in the world, to date. Having been released over 20 years ago (yes, we're talking the 80's) to this day, sneakerheads across the globe still embrace the iconic Jumpman as much as they did way back then.
It's a phenomenon, to be frank. And an ongoing one at that.
But with so many pairs having been sold and released over the past two decades, it's hard to narrow down the best. Let alone, the favorites among many, who have a pair in their collection. It's a tough choice, if at all even possible to choose.
Cheatsheet.com has a pretty good list of the best Air Jordans to date, based off of popularity, style and sales. But in our official opinion, we've narrowed down the best pair of Air Jordan's ever created on the planet.
Drum roll please.
Why you may ask? Simply put. The AJ VI is the first pair his airness won an NBA title in. On top of that, this classic style (by legendary designer, Tinker Hatfield) sparked the beginnings of the next two pair that followed it's inspiration (AJ VII and AJ VIII) Plus, these are badass to wear with your favorite outfit, as well as being over-qualified for any indoor basketball court. I wouldn't recommend playing outside in these classics. A huge technical foul if you do.
Check out the video clip below, highlighting Jordan's legendary moves in the infrared VI's, in 1991 of the NBA Playoffs. Remember? Patrick Ewing getting yammed on? Classic.
