Jay Park started out as a member of a Korean boy band called 2pm. The popular South Korean boy band was known to be the "pretty boys". In September 2009, Park returned home to Seattle after comments Jay Park wrote about Korea in 2005 as a teenager were publicized by the Korean media; Park officially left the group and went back to the states in early 2010.
Park created his own YouTube channel on March 15, with his first upload being his own version of "Nothin' on You", which went viral and reached over 2,000,000 views in less than 24 hours. On June 15, 2010, B.o.B released "Nothin' on You" featuring Park, in South Korea, where he replaces Bruno Mars' vocals.
Jay Park might be making his own lane in music. He has his own style and is not afraid to showcase it to the world. With 1.4 Million followers on Instagram, I think he's on his way to being the next big international rapper.
Here's his latest video called 'AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE AN AOMG PARTY' featuring Ugly Duck.
