With prestige comes more prestige.
In a recent report, we learned that our eldest First Daughter is all grown up and has her eyes set on Harvard University. Although First Lady Michelle Obama wished for an alternate, its not news that one of the most famous teens in the country would choose an Ivy League. In fact, Harvard University happens to be one of many to encourage students to take a year off. According to Time Magazine, “Harvard College encourages admitted students to defer enrollment for one year to travel, pursue a special project or activity, work, or spend time in another meaningful way,” according to the website for the school’sadmissions office. “Each year, between 80 and 110 students defer their matriculation to the College.”
So the question is, what exactly will Malia be doing for this gap year? Until more news surfaces, Congrats to Malia Obama on a great choice.
