"I'd rather see him take a knee than stand up, put his hands up and get murdered..."

Marshawn Lynch's speech on Colin Kaepernick's National Anthem protest was brief, but smart.

In the wake of police brutality and the countless number of African American men who are murdered by the police, athletes and celebs alike have shown their individual concerns for the country that boasts "equality, freedom and justice for all." We are in a state of chaos right now as white police officers are murdering with no remorse.

Marshawn Lynch appeared on Conan Tuesday night to discuss lighthearted topics, switching gears to comment on Colin Kaepernick's decision to take a knee during the national anthem prior to recent games. Conan asked the former NFL player to share his thoughts on the issue and Lynch provided us with a brief, yet powerful insight into the root of the problem and his support of the 49ers quarterback.

The majority of arguments have displayed hostility, anger and death threats from those who oppose Kaepernick's protest; while others like Lynch have presented calm and logical explanations for the movement. Check out the video below and be sure to comment on the movement.
