Can you blame Paul George for alleging his sneakers as the culprit?
It was bad... Like, really bad.
During yesterday's game versus China in the USA's Olympic opener, number 29 was put on ice by China's Zhao Jiwei. And no, we can't seem to validate George's claim that his Nike Hyperdunks 2016's were to point the finger at.

After the game, George took to Twitter and explained why he had fallen down against his offender.
Reasoning with Bleacher Report, he wanted to set the record straight, (from his perspective).
Even fans who watched it don't buy into it.
Do you buy into it? Or is it safe to say, Mr. George got a good ol' choppin?
