At 5:30 p.m., H&M was bombarded with Philadelphia fashion heads awaiting the release of the Balmain x H&M collection. In a crowded line that wrapped around the city streets, customers have about 14 hours left of anticipation until the release at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Full of sequenced and embroidered silhouettes, this it is the most anticipated collaboration to date. But, with only a limited supply of items and only a 15 minute window to shop, this could potentially mean war of the worlds for customers. HypeFresh traveled to one of the H&M locations on 16th and Chestnut Street to witness the chaos first hand.

 Pandemonium.

Lets just say that the overall mood was frustration, fatigue and a bit of excitement. Although none of the customers were willing to speak about sitting in the middle of center city all night, we did speak to an H&M sales associate who believes that the collaboration will be success.

"It is Balmain. Compared to paying $5,000 dollars, you'll be paying $375. The highest you'll be paying is $700. I do not think its bad. Its watered down, but its Balmain."

- Taylor, H&M Associate

As it stands at this very moment, the wait resumes. More updates on the Philadelphia launch as more source reports come in.
