Rihanna, along with Benoit Demouy, has launched her own beauty and style agency for artists called Fr8me.
Fr8me will focus on assisting artists with editorial shoots, booking commercials, campaigns, and red carpet opportunities.
During all of this, Rihanna also has her own photo agency called A Dog Ate My Homework, it currently represents Erik Asla and Deborah Anderson. Rihanna's team consists of her makeup artist Mylah Morales, hair stylists Patricia Morales and Marcia Hamilton, and Jason Bolden (who helps style Taraji P. Henson.)
In reference to starting the beauty and style company, Rihanna states "Hair, makeup and styling play an important role in creativity. I am very involved with that part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to do."
Rihanna's business manager Demouy also talks about their new business venture. "Our goal is to have a stellar reputation," says Demouy. "The industry's changed so much — rates have gone down, and clients just grab images off social media, trying to bypass paying artists. But we're concerned with social media, too — we'll take a makeup artist with 500,000 followers over someone else."
