LA-based designer Paul Foeckler chucked firewood and had a brilliant idea - make elegant, vibrant lamps out of the tree he just chopped down. And to be perfectly honest - it's a pretty dope concept. Dubbed under the name Split Grain, by using foraged firewood found in California's forests, these wood chops turn into living room decor real f'n quick.

Putting the lights within the core of each stomp illuminates a warm, sunshine-ish type light that brings the wood to life. A perfect minimal finish if you like to don it.

These lamps would be perfect for any setting - outdoor on indoor. Major character is added with these creative decorative lights. It's just a perfect balance between minimalism and flamboyance.

Would you bless your abode with these decorative installments?
