Event Producer, Brianni Taylor has brought back another art exhibit. If you missed this one, you should be livid with yourself. Brianni put together an extraordinary Drake inspired showcase titled Views. Back in May, the 25-year-old curated her first art exhibit honoring Kanye West's The Life of Pablo album.
The Views exhibit was a one-day pop up showcase that took place on Monday, October 10th, 2016 from 6pm – 1am. There were all access passes for purchase, which included admission for the entirety of the event, a Views Exhibit Hat and other goodies.
Taylor's vision came to life from a combination of the artists' unique blend of different aesthetics coupled with the visual expression of their own perspective on the album. It all came together too well! Taylor spoke with Nylon about the Views exhibit and we can assure this won’t be Taylor’s last. She told Nylon that she already has "big plans for her next showcase." I have a feeling it will either be a Chance The Rapper or Rihanna exhibit. What do you think?
“When artists have cult followings, their fans want to be a part of anything related to them. If a person can go to an event where they can hear, see, taste, or touch things inspired by their favorite artist, they want to be there,” Taylor says.
The Views Exhibit created an interactive experience that triggered different elements of your senses, including artwork by revolutionary artists. During the event, the captivating Taqee Bond was the host with a rousing Drake playlist mixed by DJ Miss Milan and Q. Since the popular thing at parties are photo booths, there was even a Drake based photo booth with props made by Taylor Made Greetings, an open bar with mixed drinks named after Drake songs. The exhibit featured an interactive themed room, and an ALL DRAKE KARAOKE CONTEST, where the contest winner wins tickets to Drake's Summer 16 Tour! If that doesn't sound like an amazing time then I don't know what your on. Plus, a portion of the ticket sales from #ViewsExhibit will be donated to Art and Resistance Through Education, a non profit organization that educates young people about human rights through the arts.
