Parents at Fiske Elementary School in Chicago are upset with a substitute teacher for giving students a quiz on hometown rapper Chief Keef.
According to reports, the substitute music teacher assigned students to research Keef and subsequently gave them a quiz on his biographical facts and criminal history.
One parent, Katrina Sanders, was not pleased when her son brought home that quiz. "I had never heard of him," she said, "but after careful research I found out that his music is about having sex, using the ‘B’ word, anti-police, and supporting gangs."
She then posted a video on YouTube (see below) showing the quiz her son took, which asked questions such as:
Where was he placed on house arrest?
Who shot Chief Keef when he was 16?
What Kanye West song was Chief Keef featured on?
At what age did he stop attending school?
What was Chief Keef debut album?
What year was “Bang” release?
The principal deemed the assignment inappropriate and suspended the project immediately.
