Bill Wyman’s spokesman confirmed that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Due to it being in the early stages, he is “expected to make a full recovery” according to a tweet made from his Twitter account.
72-year-old Wyman joined the Rolling Stones in 1962, being one of the founding members. The guitarist left the band after 30 years, being overwhelmed by scheduling of tours, and having other goals that he wanted to pursue.
Wyman and his wife decided to announce that he was suffering from cancer, to avoid fans finding out by the changes from the treatment he would be receiving.
