For its fifth season, the Made in America Festival returns to Philadelphia this weekend with a star studded lineup.
Rihanna and Coldplay are set to headline this weekend’s Festival on the Parkway. The annual two day event — founded by rap mogul Jay Z — will host live music from a wide range of genres including hip-hop, rock, pop, R&B, and EDM.
Saturday’s lineup includes Rihanna, ColleGrove (2 Chainz & Lil’ Wayne) Bryson Tiller, Grimes, and Philly native Lil Uzi Vert.
On Sunday, Coldplay, Chance the Rapper, DJ Khaled, FKA twigs and more will take the stage.
Gates open at noon on both days.
There is a free app for the festival that features a map, social feeds, and special Made in America photo filters. Its available for both Apple and Android devices.
Tickets are still available and the show will benefit United Ways (in Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and Berks County, PA) for educational and health initiatives.
Not planning to go? The festival’s Rocky, Liberty and Tidal stages will be live streamed entirely on Tidal.
Lyft is the official ride sharing partner and will be offering free rides home for attendees this weekend.
Last year’s festival saw record breaking sold out crowds. Organizers say attendance exceeded 140,000.
