"The creation of the Evangeline EP came about fairly effortless,” Miami artist Sylvan LaCue revealed to Pigeons & Planes in their premiere of the 5-track project that they explained "shares stories of self-discovery."
Produced entirely by Flo-Fi Collective’s Fortune, who contributed to GoldLink’s The God Complex, the EP finds 25-year-old Sylvan LaCue glowing with excitement and as vulnerable as any artist you've heard before.
"Fortune & I were going back & forth for about a week during Thanksgiving weekend earlier this year. He provided the soundtrack to the story I wanted to convey. I cut four of the songs in a matter of a week, and pulled together ‘First Flight To Oakland’ the day before the EP was scheduled to be released."
