Wiz Khalifa took to Twitter last night to announce the sequel to his 2011 debut album, 'Rolling Papers' with 'Rolling Papers: The Weed Album'.
The first installment of Rolling Papers did well in terms of sales but it didn't necessarily display the Wiz that Khalifa fans all know and love. After the record was released and strongly critiqued, Wiz wrote an open letter to his fans saying:
"The mistake I made on Rolling Papers was thinking it was time to move on from that genre not knowing that it had impacted people so much. The album did great numbers, But creatively wasn't my best work. No regrets though. We live and we learn."
Needless to say, expectations are high for the young Khalifa. Wiz has also been in the studio with Curren$y working on their joint project, #2009, which is on the way also.
Rolling Papers: The Weed Album doesn't have an official release date but is sure to be in the works. We will be sure to keep you posted on any new updates.
