As we continue to see streetwear labels pop up left and right it is hard to stand out and be different in the evolving world of fashion and streetwear. Majority of streetwear labels claim to be doing something different; while in reality there really isn’t much different aside from the simple logo aesthetic they are screen printing onto shirts. I am a huge advocate of streetwear and love to support local…however, what excites me is to see brands such as Daily Paper Clothing doing something different in the marketplace.
Founded in 2010, Daily Paper is still relatively new to the scene. The development of the brand has been eye catching, creative and captivating. Based out of Amsterdam this ready-to-wear streetwear label captures the essence of the owners African heritage. While the label is a menswear based label – ladies you can still be sure to incorporate some of their pieces into your wardrobe. Daily paper has fused together the essence of contemporary ready-to-wear fashion and streetwear – making them simply unique. “The menswear label is known for being affected by different African cultures incorporating these influences into modern design with a unique rugged character.”
