Although the dynamic Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving will not be attending the NBA All-Star game, he still plans to make an appearance in the sneaker world. Unfortunately Irving missed out on the Eastern Conference All-Star team but he has been contributing to the success of the Cavaliers in hopes of making it into the NBA Championship. He continues to excite his fans through his decision to join forces with Nike in releasing a series of “Nike Kyrie 2” sneakers in a variety of colorways. Towards the end of the weekend, one of the most desirable of the collection, the “Green Glow” colorway will be released.
The black and mint green sneaker transitioned from the success of the same color scheme used for the Kyrie 1. So now let's get into the details of the anticipated sneaker. The sneaker is predominately covered in the ominous black color with the green glow sprinkled throughout on the midsole, the outsole, toe section, the branding on the tongue and the Nike swoosh logos. The “Green Glow” is built with a Hyperfuse construction and the Dynamic Fit cross-strap done in black including green glow underlays with other detailing hitting the Swoosh and outsole.
If you are a fan of the Nike Kyrie 2 “Green Glow” it will be released nationwide on February 17th, 2016 for a retail price set at $120. In the meantime, make sure you are tuned in to the NBA All-Star weekend, which will be taking place from Thursday, February 11th – Sunday, February 14th. Also look forward to future Kyrie 2 colorways that will be released during the year.
