"Once we are destined to live out our lives in the prison of our mind, our duty is to furnish it well." - Peter Ustinov (1921-2004) was an English actor, writer and dramatist.

People always ask me this: How to transition from not knowing how to dress to being stylish? Because they’ve been trying to do this for years but they’re still stuck.

Well, becoming stylish is one powerful decision to take in our society. Through my experience I realized that it's something that takes time and has to be part of your mentality. Yes, you have to make it part of your mentality!

The first tip I can give you is to do your own research. Yes, learn about fashion, read books, fashion and art magazines, watch documentaries, learn about the masters of fashion...
All the information from your research will help you to decide if this is the right lifestyle for you. You will have a huge reservoir of information to help you make up your mind.

Now the second tip of being stylish is not necessary about buying the latest collections ofGucci, Valentino or Haider Ackermann - IT HELPS BUT - It is about being brave and let go people who judge you and criticized you about the lifestyle you are trying to embrace.

The third tip is to find your community. Connect with people who are already on that lifestyle or who are on the process of becoming fashionistas. You need to build or join a network of people to find inspiration and to develop your creativity. One step at the time and you will find yourself being pushed to the lifestyle.

The fourth and biggest tip is to be mentally strong to deal with criticisms and also to receive compliments. Yes this is really important and will help you during your journey.

And the last tip is to write down for at least 40 days, how you are feeling about the style or look you are embracing, the new clothes you are buying and wearing and how you used to feel about your old ugly and crappy clothes.

This comparison will help you to do the transition and also help you to improve your new stylish look.

Remember, being Stylish is about creativity, knowledge and self-confidence.

Now you have it! I hope that it helps!
