The Breakfast Club host, Charlamagne tha God is undoubtedly one of the most beloved and hated personalities in the hip hop game. From his jaw dropping encounter with Baby to Lil Mama, insulting Lil Kim on her plastic surgery, and his most recent insults about Beanie Sigel and Jahiem, the radio personality seems to be turning over a new leaf, releasing a book in the Spring of 2017 titled, "Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It."
The book is slated to give readers a raw perspective on Charlamagne's journey, starting with his humble upbringing in Moncks Corner, South Carolina to becoming one of the music industry's most influential interviewers and personalities that fans enjoy. When asked about the idea behind the book, he said the following:
I wrote this for the dreamers, for the optimists; this book isn’t for pessimists,. This book is about embracing who and what you are regardless of race, gender, sexuality, and class. God gave you the privilege of this thing called life so regardless of what this society tells you that you can’t do and what you don’t have to understand you lack nothing God gave you everything you need to succeed.”
The book will be available at your local Barnes and Nobles come the Spring. Until then, check out C tha God on the Breakfast Club for more surprises and viral-worthy celebrity insults.
