The German-born abstract artist Peter Zimmermann has created an exhibition which allows visitors to walk on his creations. By creating his signature 'blob art' into the floor, which are protected by a high reflective floor glass. Thus giving the visitor the freedom to become one with the exhibition, including the artwork.
Zimmermann's current gallery has been adapted in the 1902 museum building that once stood as an all girls school. The exhibit is just about 425 square meters (about 4,575 square feet) and is titled ‘Freiburg School.’ This ultimately pays homage to the building's past.
The exhibition, is open to the public till June 19, 2016, at the Museum für Neue Kunst in Zimmermann's hometown of Freiburg, Germany.
