Chipotle Wants To Create A “Better Burger”

Chipotle is now planning to offer "Better Burgers." Since the E. Coli outbreak, Chipotle has been trying to win its customers back and expand their brand. 

They have gone as far as offering 3.5 million burritos to ensure that its food is safe to eat, and is now trying expand into burgers. Chipotle wants to expand their brand and launch the burger restaurant "Better Burger". Not much information is revealed about the restaurant besides the name, Chipotle’s spokesman Chris Arnold issued a statement on success with other non-chipotle restaurants.

“We have two non-Chipotle growth seeds open now — ShopHouse and Pizzeria Locale — and have noted before that the Chipotle model could be applied to a wide variety of foods,” said Arnold.

Better Burger may be successful, ShopHouse was established in 2011 and Pizzeria Locale in 2013. Both restaurants are successful and are not really associated with Chipotle besides being the parent company, and their profit has not been as been affected by the Chipotle outbreak.
