Gilbert Arenas has no intentions on apologizing for his sexist comments he made on Instagram earlier this week referring to WNBA players. He told the folks at TMZ Sports that he will not apologize regardless of how many people ask him.

“What will I be sorry about?” he asked. “I don’t know what the big deal is...They call me washed up. Yeah, I’m washed up. I don’t want an apology because they called me washed up if that’s the truth.”

For those who missed Arenas' shenanigans, the former NBA star posted a video on Instagram of two women in thongs playing basketball and suggested that this is what WNBA players should look like.

NOW this is what america was hoping for when they announced the #WNBA back in 1996... not a bunch of chicks running around looking like, cast members from #orangeisthenewblack...dont get me wrong, they have few #cutiepies but theres a whole alotta #beanpies running around hahahahahaha if #skylardiggins came out like this,I dont care if she missed every layup..imma buy season tickets and I dont even know where the fuck #tulsa is hahahaha #2016newwnbaoutfitPLS and if u think this is sexist,9 times out of 10 u the ugly one and we didnt pay to come see u play anyway #donkeykong ...smdh #thiswillbeawesome #soldouteverywhere

He dug a deeper hole when he later tried to clarify his original comments saying:

#Basketballchicks has some of the best bodies in women sports #Lesbians or #str8 we can give two shits about what they prefer in the bedroom becuz men prefer #assandtitties and last time I checked theres 20 total titties and 10 asses running around but for some odd reason were not getting it..what were getting is #tats #dreads #highsocks #baggyshorts #elbowpads..sounds like MEN attire tobme.

Now here's the icing on the cake. Since Arenas has a daughter, he was asked what would he say to them if they wore a regular uniform for basketball. His response: "I'm petty, so as a father, I’m going to let her dress the way she dresses. As a petty person, I’m going to laugh at the way she dresses. Period."
