ESPN takes page out of BET's playbook, will broadcast MEAC band performances

HBCU fans will finally get to see MEAC marching bands halftime shows televised in their entirety starting this fall.

According to HBCUgameday.com: It's a small move that could have a big payoff. For all but the diehard HBCU football fans, the halftime show is the main attraction in black college football. It's one of the things BET got right when they broadcast black college football back in the day, and it's about time it happened at ESPN.
