J. Cole has been on our radar since he began the clever campaign for his latest album, "4 Your Eyez Only." So much in fact that a hotel chain dissed the album as an advertisement. To capitalize on the some free publicity, a Hampton Inn in Sandy Utah tweeted a half hearted diss stating:
“Is the new J. Cole album putting you to sleep early? Stop on by and stay a night with us at the Hampton Inn Sandy,”
Friday (Dec. 9).
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Hamad, Cole's bestfriend and president of Dreamville Records expressed his thoughts and "love" that the album has received thus far in a tweet directly related to the albums sale projections.
J. Cole is expected to sale around 550,000 copies in one week including album streams. This posits Cole in third place behind Drake's Views (1.4 million) and Beyonce's Lemonade (653,000) for the year's biggest sales. So hate all you want Holiday Inn!
