What if you could drink your brain cells away and not get a hangover? Sounds awesome right? Well one scientist thinks he has the remedy.
English scientist, David Nutt is a professor at Imperial College and a drug adviser for the British government. Given his background and expertise, Nutt claims that he has created an "alcosynth," which mimics the positive effects of alcohol without damaging your liver and heart. Slated to be a bar staple in 2050, it will alleviate dry mouth, nausea and headaches.
Nutt is currently testing this concoction on human guinea pigs. He has already created 90 varieties of alcosynth and is positive about the potential and future of cocktails. The process is simple: bartenders with dispense the alcosynth into your cocktail and bottoms up!
But a ton of questions are still circulating around this idea and before it reaches shelves, a lot more research has to be done. In the mean time, I guess we can all dream of the day when we can drink 12 mojitos and wake up like a champ.
