Last year, the internet went crazy over a massive leak of celebrity nude photos known as "The Fappening."
According to Complex, the leak continued for several weeks, with more and more photos surfacing of stars including Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens, Jennifer Lawrence, Kaley Cuoco, and several others. Victims of the hack spoke out against people sharing the photos while some denied the pictures where theirs.
Kate Upton has been silent about the incident until just recently in an interview with The London Evening Standard in which she made comments about the leaked photos.
‘It was very difficult … It’s an invasion of my privacy and it’s not OK. It’s illegal. People don’t have a right to look at those photos or to judge them.’
Upton fantasizes about leaving social media altogether, but she just can't.
Jennifer Lawrence and others have also called The Fappening an illegal sex crime, and the sites like reddit have since changed their policies on the kinds of nude photos that can be shared, but no one has been found guilty for the acts.
