First it started with Back To The Future'sMichael J. Fox's character, flying through the streets in the hit 90's flick. Then, last year, Hendo’s hoverboard prototype created one of the biggest buzzes on the internet, but their Kickstarter may be trumped by the entry of Lexus‘ newest project - a real, live magnetized hoverboard.
No need for magenetic surfaces, indoor power floors or fake videos that tease buyers with a partial experience. According to Lexus, “the Lexus Hoverboard uses magnetic levitation to achieve amazing frictionless movement. Liquid nitrogen cooled superconductors and permanent magnets combine to allow Lexus to create the impossible.”
It looks absolutely amazing, in terms of Aesthetics, being skillfully crafted with natural bamboo and other fine materials used on Lexus cars. And of course, stamped in the middle is a big ol' "L" to let you know its maker.
I honestly never thought in my lifetime I would see an actual levitating hoverboard in effect. It's 2015, so I guess you never know what to expect nowadays. Stay posted to HYPEFRESH® for more updates on the highly anticipated project.
