Now, when most people are trying to outrun the law they stay hidden, but not Donald Pugh, in fact, he takes selfies like every other person on social media.
Pugh is a person of interest in multiple cases involving arson and vandalism, and his warrant is for failure to appear on summons.
The police department in Lima, Ohio posted Pugh's mugshot on Facebook asking people f they have seen Pugh. Pugh saw the picture, didn't like his mugshot, and decided to send in a selfie instead. Pugh text the police the new picture with the following message, “Here is a better photo, that one is terrible.” Pugh also called into The Eagle (104.9) radio station to talk about his photo. “Man, they just did me wrong,” Pugh told 104.9. “They put a picture out that made me look like I was a Thundercat, or James Brown on the run. I can’t do that.”
The Lima, Ohio police department posted the photo with the caption, “This photo was sent to us by Mr. Pugh himself. We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges.”
According to the Lima Police Department, Pugh was caught in Florida, and is being held for warrants out of Columbus, Georgia.
