'Moonlight' is coming Exclusively to Amazon Prime Video

“Moonlight,” took the Oscars by storm this year by winning not only Best Picture, but Best Adapted Screenplay ( by director Barry Jenkins and Tarell Alvin McCraney) and Best Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali, also. The fact that Amazon Prime is streaming the Best Picture winner is a "W" not only for production studio A24, but also for Amazon. Where else can you find a company able to stream the Best Picture Oscar winner on their platform?

Amazon, thats it!

A24, which has a pact with the streaming giant that has landed a bunch of other really good flicks on the streaming service, will continue to make Amazon Prime Video the only premium subscription service for all upcoming A24 films. Other A24 films that are said to be coming to Amazon in 2017 are: Free Fire, 20th Century Women, The Lovers, American Honey, David Lowery’s A Ghost Story and It Comes at Night. These upcoming films will join the movies that are already being streamed, including the Green Room, Ex Machina, The Lobster, Room, and The Witch.

However, the content agreement covers only the U.S. — so Prime Video members elsewhere won’t have access to the movies as part of their subscription.

'Moonlight' will be available on Prime Video starting May 21 to U.S. members.
