NFL's Buddy Ryan dies at 82

Buddy Ryan, the mastermind behind the NFL's cornerstone franchise Chicago Bears' excellent defense, has passed away this morning at the age of 82. It is reported that Ryan has been in bad health for the past few years unfortunately.

Ryan was a head coach for the Eagles and Cardinals for 7 seasons although he coached in the NFL for 35 seasons. His most memorable mark was left as the defensive coordinator of the Bears leading them to their 1985 Super Bowl XX victory.

Many players who was taught under Buddy Ryan would say he is a genius. For every action he had an explanation. Treating each team he worked alongside as his family, Buddy Ryan knew how to protect his family.
