Parris Goebel aka Parri$ is no stranger to the game. Her name is mostly known for her choreography, but she is looking to make a name for herself in music.
The New Zealand-born choreographer, dancer and actress has won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship three times with her dance crew Royal Family. She has worked with Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj and more. Her most notable creative direction, choreography and direction stems from Justin Beiber's "Sorry" music video which set the cyber world on fire, garnering more than 1.7 billion views.
Now, the choreographer turned artist is looking to make a name for herself with her latest single, "Nasty." The track features Parri$ rapping over an upbeat summer banger, you already know about me? I'm the one they want to be. The visual finds Parri$ and a crew of her best dancers in the woods to capture the beauty of New Zealand. The choreography is classic Parri$, in sync, and dynamic with little to no error.
In a sit down with the FADRER, Parri$ said, "The concept was to embrace the natural feel of New Zealand, and I wanted to shoot on a farm while the sun was setting. All the dancers -who are part of my core squad- were wearing clothing that was made to feel fresh and raw to represent the beautiful outdoors of our country."
Parri$ is set to release her debut project Run & Tell Your Friends on October 17. In the mean time, check out the visuals above!
