Bala Cynwyd, PA - On October 2, 2014 sport and fashion came together to support NFL star Brad Smith’s True Foundation at the first-ever Style Games presented by Saks Fifth Avenue along with Jen Abrams Style and Destined for Success Management.

The Style Games is an interactive, hybrid experience for fashion and sports enthusiasts alike set in a competitive environment. Over 150 industry notables – from editors to tastemakers – came out to see Eagles players including Smith, OL Todd Herremans, CB Brandon Boykin, QB Matt Barkley, S Chris Maragos, TE Zach Ertz, LB Emmanuel Acho and WR Riley Cooper compete in a series of fashion challenges.

Broken up into offense versus defense, teams raced against a 5-minute clock for 3 rounds to put together the best thematic fashion look on a model, while guests cheered them on throughout the store. Marcus D. Wiley, (co-host of The Yolanda Adams Morning Show) emceed the event with a panel of celebrity judges consisting of Jen Abrams, Texanna Watts, Michael Duru and Elizabeth Wellington judged the final looks using The Style Games scoring method of giant placards that read, “Touchdown”, “Field Goal”, and “2-point conversion.”

In the end, the Offense came away with bragging rights, with Ertz styling the winning look, earning him a watch from Martenero Watches.

Of The Style Games success, Concept Creator Stephanie Matthews said, “I knew The Style Games had entertainment value when NFL Films came to capture the action. The evening was a tremendous success, and I’m pleased we could help raise money and awareness for Brad’s Foundation.”
