Following his expedited rise to fame in 2016, the 34-year-old artist previews rare footage of his climb to success featuring his close friends, family and collaborators such as Pharrell Williams.

“I feel like I’m the chosen one, but I chose myself,” Skepta says in the beginning of the trailer. “When I finally got there, to where I thought was the top, I wasn’t doing what I was doing in the beginning. I was not happy. This was a straight nervous breakdown.”

Although Skepta has been in the game for years, the 34-year-old artist reached new heights in 2016. Having garnered mainstream success from his fourth studio album Konnichiwa in May with an accolade for the highly coveted Mercury Prize and ambassador deal with fashion giant Uniqlo, the journey has not been easy. 


To highly the struggle to fame and fortune, Apple Music and Beats 1 have shared a preview of Skepta's upcoming documentary called Greatness Only. Shot entirely during the weeks leading up to his career-defining concert at London's Alexandra Palace, the documentary includes rare footage and commentary from his close friends, family and collaborators such as Pharrell Williams.
