"Please wrap?, I waited 20 years for this, you gon' wait!" So said Taraji P. Henson accepting her Golden Globe Award.

Everyone seems to love Henson today, especially after her role as Cookie Lyon on Empire. At the Golden Globe Awards, Henson finally got her recognition from the academy.

Henson won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama. She was in the category against Viola Davis, Caitriona Balfe, Eva Green, and Robin Wright. In true Cookie fashion, once she was announced as the winner, she passed out cookies to celebrate as she walked on stage to accept her award.

“Who knew that playing an ex-convict would take me all around the globe?" Said Henson. "So the world loves real. Thank you.”

As Taraji was naming the people she wanted to thank, the teleprompter told her to wrap her speech. And in true Taraji, and Cookie nature, she gave a honest reply.
