This Photographer Thinks Cell Phones are 'Soul Stealers'

Antoine Geiger (photographer) has captured what appears to be the reality of modern day society. With the dependence of celluar technology in today's day and age, smartphones have become the weakness of most citizens. Taking original pics of random people, and then stretching their faces out, creates a ghouly effect which appears to be the subject's "soul" leaving the body, and entering the phone.

This photography series is titled "SUR-FAKE."

“What interests me in this texture of sucked faces is the over-exposure that gradually allows a very organic dimension, as well as digital, to render something quite disturbing” says Geiger.
