Lets talk about 'Valaryn Steel' swords for just a moment. In the 9th century, Vikings carried massive blades of 'uncommonly' durable steel which didn't resurface until the 17th Century. That's eight centuries later. Europe was its resurrection place. And ever since, this steel has been hailed 'King' of all metals known to mankind.

In this video, Wisconsin Blacksmith Richard Furrer has put in his research on the ULFBERHT Swords. In doing so, he's done his due diligence in trying to recreate what once was the sharpest, strongest sword ever.
