Who ever said second chances can't be given?
The heads over at Vice Media want those with a few strikes against them to have an opportunity at a new beginnings. This initiative is set to launch at the top of 2017.
Vice's CEO Shane Smith added he wants to “alleviate some of these issues by putting our money where our mouth is.”
Those chosen will get the dibs at six-month jobs, working 40 hours per week for $15 USD an hour, with New York residents aged 18 to 25 and on probation or parole eligible. For more information visit Vice’s website here.
