Yo Gotti only had nine days to finish his new project, White Friday, so to document the footage, he enlisted camera crews to follow his journey which later evolved into a new documentary series dubbed Behind the Nine.
The documentary follows Gotti's tumultuous creative process to complete the project amid surrounding personal issues and loses. " I challenged myself to do this in nine days in the house with my homies. It was the type of energy I needed to go back to the original feel of Cocaine Muzik, he told Complex.
The project is his first body of work since his recent deal with Roc Nation management, serving as the follow up to The Art of Hustle, featuring singles "Castro" with Kanye West, Big Sean, Quavo, and 2 Chainz and "Weatherman" with Kodak Black.
