From his appearance on BET's 106 & Park Wild Out Wednesday to working with renowned award winning producers, Chrystian Lehr is marking new chapters in his young career. And we had the pleasure of speaking with Chrystian about his creative process, dream collaboration, his latest project, Fools Gold and more!

Q: Who is Chrystian Lehr the artist?
A: I consider myself a real singer, songwriter, and performer with a genuine love for the craft.
Q: And who is Chrystian Lehr the man behind the music?
A: Best way i can describe is young, black, and gifted. And all that those attributes come with.
Q: If you could describe your sound in three words, what would they be?
A: Dynamic, Fresh, Authentic.
Q: Who are your musical inspirations?
A: Usher, Brandy, Tank, Beyonce, Kanye West, Drake.
Q: What is your creative process?
A: My creative process varies. Sometimes songs come to me in my sleep, sometimes i can be riding down the street and see something/someone that makes me want to tell a story about it.
Q: Your EP, Fools Gold. What was the concept behind the project?
A: The concept behind "Fool's Gold" is a relationship with someone or something that did not turn out to be what you expected. Each song describes a different stage of a relationship.
Q: If you could collaborate with an artist (dead or alive) who would hit be?
A: I would love to do a record for/with Beyonce.

A: My Phone, Headphones, Water, some type of food, and a damn boat to get out of there.
Q: When you are not creating awesome music, what does your day consist of?
A: On a good day ill wake up, eat, hit the gym, nap, get dressed and go out with friends.

A: High Tops

A: Kobe, (Im all about the new school lol)

A: I really want to visit Bora Bora.

A: Probably a G wagon or a Range Rover.

A: I have a ring in my pocket in my pocket that i took off to wash my hands.

A: Utilize social media. There is nothing more powerful for a brand or a business than having direct to consumer access.
