There's no correct formula to success. Some make it and some don't. But the determination to succeed and the ability to get back up after falling, is what separates those two groups.

Kareem "Biggs" Burke, Damon "Dame" Dash & Shawn "Jay Z" Carter had no real concrete plan for their success. But they knew that they were going to work their hardest to get it. They envisioned music, businesses, clothing lines and so much more. And those visions came to life right in front of their eyes. And the doubters? They surprised everyone but themselves. They were confident to say the least.

That same confidence turned into humility as they went from three young teens making music to grown men building empires. But all human beings have their own path and once 'Reasonable Doubt' dropped it seemed like that was becoming more and more real. Biggs became a business guru. Dame also dove deep into business. And Jay? Well, he became the greatest rapper of all time. They weren't daydreaming anymore. And yes, they all had some trials and tribulations but somehow they all made it back right in time for the 20th year anniversary of 'Reasonable Doubt.' As Biggs has said, "The journey is as important as the destination."

So what happened in the last 20 years, you ask? Well as most know, Dame & Jay had a falling out and Biggs had personal matters of his own to handle. But those things didn't deteriorate the legacy they created. Fans all over the world have studied Roc-A-Fella, inside and out. And 9 times out of 10, you'll hear how The Roc changed music for the better. Shit, it changed lives! The Roc brought The Diplomats, Kanye West, State Property and so many others to the game. And that was just the tip of the iceberg. We can sit here for hours going over every piece of Roc-A-Fella history. But it's better to bask in all it's glory while we celebrate the 20 years of it's history above.

And while you're basking, remember before Roc-A-Fella became one of the most important labels known, Biggs, Dame & Jay were just three dudes from New York City, betting on themselves. Guess Lady Luck came through.
