UK hip hop duo Cold Callers come through with the visuals for their latest release “Summer Lovin” – taken from last year’s critically acclaimed debut EP “As the Sun Sets”.
Cold Callers, made up of Toch-UQ and Timi.B, grew up in Hertfordshire, starting the collective when they were just 15. Recording at their local youth centre, they eventually ended up converting Toch's shed into a studio, where they still record most of their vocals.
With critical acclaim for “As The Sun Sets” already coming from the likes of COMPLEX and GUAP MAGAZINE, “Summer Lovin” would also grab air play from BBC introducing, landing on influential Spotify 'Fresh Finds' and 'Discover Weekly' playlists.
With Cold Callers recently performing at iluvlive in January, flying to LA to shoot two more videos, “Summer Lovin” gets a well-deserved finessed visual. With a second EP penciled in for later this year, the duo explored concepts of love, fear and freedom whilst collaborating with Wize the Producer and El-Train.
The duo use a classy roll-call of influences that spans Timbaland and Pharrell to Robert Glasper and KAYTRANADA and this new visual arrives just in time to consolidate Cold Callers as one of the most interesting and inventive young hip hop and soul groups coming out of the city right now.
Check out the lush, mellow vibes above and stay tuned for more from Cold Callers in 2018!
