Brooklyn singer/songwriter Dylan St. John has established himself as one of New York's most visible and viable up and coming talents. His whirlwind rise to the forefront of the competitive New York scene can be accredited to a series of collaborations with artists including A$AP Mob's Marty Baller, Dre Prince, and Creative Gold, live shows around the city with household names like Jadakiss, Hi-Rez, and Soulection, and brand sponsorships with Sour Patch Kids.
Closing out 2017 with a performance at The Meadows Festival in Queens, St. John is now gearing up for the launch of a soon-to-be-announced EP coming later this year. Today, we're getting our first glimpse into the project with brand new single "Fashion" out now. A link up with producer Roman RSK and Queens artist TWO32, "Fashion" sees St. John expands on his penchant of trap-influenced hip-hop beats ideal for club play. On the nearly four-minute single, St. John utilizes an expertly composed mix of singing and spoken verses, spliced in with a mix of catchy ad-libs.
Aside from the release of his third EP, St. John has some additional things in store for 2018. First up, St. John will be launching a venture in the fashion world with a merch line alongside acclaimed New York-based streetwear brand Control Sector. In this same realm, he will also be continuing the development of his own clothing brand X $ 4 :). Fans can also look forward to a series of live shows and a second appearance at this years edition of Doperoots' experiential event No Ends.
Until then, check out the dope track above and stay tuned for more from Dylan St. John in 2018!
