North Carolina rapper, Jalen Santoy has dropped the official music video for his viral hit single, "Foreplay," a breezy minimalist summer jam with a mesmerizing saxophone riff and beautifully harmonized chorus' all slated to tell the story of tormented love.
Born in Charleston, SC, Jalen is a rapper, singer and songwriter who began his career in music at 15, ultimately garnering his sound and niche to release his first single, "God" at 21. Over a year and 6 million stream later, Jalen graces us to "Foreplay's,", enigmatic and colorful visual from his forthcoming EP, Charlie Eastern which is set to drop November 18th.
The striking visual finds the rapper in a twisted love ordeal gone wrong. When asked about the video's creative concept, he said:
"The video is meant to be colorful showing that though, lyrically, there is clear discontent within the relationship, the contrast is what brings it to life."There will always be conflict in any relationship but allowing people to get involved with your mindset will do nothing but taint the original picture."
