Since forming a decade ago in their native Toronto, Keys N Krates have carved their own path via a bass-centric, sample-driven sound which melds the realms of electronic, hip-hop and beyond. The group-composed of drummer Adam Tune, keyboardist David Matisse and turntablist Jr. Flo.-has built a venerable reputation as one of the leading live electronic acts today on the strength of their onstage instrumentation and energetic sets. Keys N Krates now elevate their craft with Cura, their debut artist album.
Juno Award-winning act Keys N Krates are back to share the official music video for "My Night," the closing track from their debut album Cura. The single features vocals from 070 Shake, who Paper Magazine featured in their Beautiful People issue last year. The visual follows 070 Shake on a lonely bus ride that evolves into a trippy adventure for one. Coinciding with the video, exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the video shoot will be debuted by Paper Magazine.
The new video comes on the heels of an extensive headlining world tour that saw Keys N Krates play dates across North America during the Spring, followed by festival appearances at Ultra Music Festival and Sónar Hong Kong and a run of shows across Europe. Their headlining tour will conclude with a homecoming show at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on May 11th. As part of a busy summer, Keys N Krates will also be playing in a number of festivals across the country including Electric Forest, Sonic Bloom and The Greatest Day Ever, where they will play alongside the likes of Tory Lanez, Stefflon Don, Metro Boomin and others in the Bronx on July 14-15.
