New school hip hop meets the early 90's.

Hailing from New Orleans, rapper/producer, Malik Ninety Five drops off his latest offering, "Lay Up" a dope Hip House track that re-imagines the Isley Brothers' classic "Between the Sheets." With production from CLBTS and Malik himself, the tracks foundation is a driving percussion appropriate for a good-ass time.

His interesting and left field Hip-Hop is the perfect fusion of the early 90's Hip house and the rap cadence of the past, all infused with today's contemporary sound. While his counterparts are leaning toward "empty" trap, Malik is on to something that is far beyond his years. His undeniable creativity to blend the old with the new is pure genius and downright intoxicating in today's market.  The magic is his affinity for penmanship, production and versatile flows fueled by wit, energy, melodic cadences and smooth vocal delivery.

"Link Up" is now available for stream and download through all major digital retailers as we wait for his highly anticipated project, The Paradise Project which is set to drop April of 2017.  In the mean  time, check out the track above and stay tuned for more from Malik Ninety Five.
