With the 2016 Grammy nominations released on December 8th, many artists are happy while others, like Wale, are shunned by the award show, and their friends.

The Grammy nominations this year have lot of artists that fans are excited about, especially with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Jazmine Sullivan, and J. Cole being nominated.

Lamar has been on an impressive winning-streak since his first album and his first Grammy nominations. Lamar has received 11 nominations, making him the most nominated Hip-Hop artists in a single year. He has received the most Grammy feedback to date after losing the Hip-Hop category to Macklemore in 2014.

Since the nominations, fans have asked Wale about how he felt about not being nominated. One fan tweeted Wale about him and Lamar doing a possible tour, to which Wale replied that Lamar hasn't been returning his phone calls, and that he gets the Demi Lovato treatment.

Wale made the Lovato joke in reference to the fact that Grammys have yet to honor Lovato with a nomination after releasing music for years outside of Disney Channel. He then joked about not being nominated on Twitter.

Lamar has yet to respond to Wale, but Lamar's label mate Jay Rock has with "I SEE WHY U NOT MMG. SMH." Wale released his album "The Album About Nothing" in March.
